DMP joins NVIDIA Partner Network to accelerate AI business for automation and autonomy in the robotics field

(Headquarters: Nakano-ku, Tokyo, President & COO: Tsuyoshi Osawa, hereinafter referred to as DMP) announces that it has joined the NVIDIA Partner Network (hereinafter referred to as NPN), of NVIDIA Corporation (Headquarters: Santa Clara, California, USA, hereinafter referred to as NVIDIA). This will further accelerate and strengthen DMP’s AI business related to automation and autonomy in the robotics field leveraging the NVIDIA® Jetson™ edge AI platform.

DMP has world-class GPGPU technology, advanced semiconductor development and acceleration technology, and a wealth of experience in developing AI algorithms for autonomous driving and safe driving support. In recent years, DMP has been accelerating the development of AI technology for automatic and autonomous driving in the field of low-speed vehicles such as agricultural equipment and automated guided vehicles for customers in the robotics field, including Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd, a DMP’s business and capital partner.

The participation in NPN enables DMP to provide its AI software including low-cost and high-precision SLAM^* for next-generation automatic and autonomous driving through the network of NVIDIA and its distributors. DMP will provide software that is highly optimized on NVIDIA Jetson, the leading AI-at-the-edge computing platform with over half a million developers and deployment in various intelligent industrial applications including robotics, smart factories, and drones. In addition, DMP will strive to build close relationships with many companies working on social implementation of automation and autonomy in the robotics field and improve its presence in the industry by actively developing marketing activities through the NVIDIA Jetson developer ecosystem.
