DMP’s “ZIA™ Cloud SAFE” has been adopted by DENSO TEN

Digital Media Professionals Inc. (Headquarters: Nakano-ku, Tokyo, President & COO: Tsuyoshi Osawa, hereinafter referred to as DMP) announces that its safe driving assistance cloud service, “ZIA™ Cloud SAFE,” has been adopted by DENSO TEN Limited. (Headquarters: Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture; President and Representative Director: Yukihiro Kato, hereinafter referred to as “DENSO TEN”) for its development of a technology that automatically extracts near-miss images. This technology will be integrated into DENSO TEN’s “G500Lite,” a dashcam with communication capabilities for corporate customers.

“ZIA™ Cloud SAFE” is a SaaS-type subscription-based cloud service using Amazon Web Service (AWS), which opens up further computational possibilities by utilizing powerful cloud-based resources, and realizes a safe driving assistance system that enables advanced AI image recognition, improved accuracy and function expansion through continuous learning.
“ZIA™ Cloud SAFE” shares core technology with “ZIA™ SAFE”, the proven edge AI based safe driving system development platform, and makes it possible to build an integrated safe driving assistance service using both real-time edge computing and powerful cloud computing. “ZIA™ Cloud SAFE” has been adopted by DENSO TEN for the driver monitoring functions to detect drivers’ statuses such as “Drowsiness,” “Looking aside,” and “Using a smartphone while driving,” which contributes to reduction in car accidents.
