SMAPH-F

High speed, high quality rendering of SVG contents

High performance and high quality and yet low power consuming GUI (Graphical User Interface) and applications can be realized at low cost by integrating SMAPH-F core on the ASIC/ASSP/SoC at the digital appliances with display, car infotainment and cluster systems, mobile and tablet devices, and a multiple other embedded devices. Furthermore,  SMAPH-F will enable hardware accelerated vector graphics for Adobe Flash Lite or SVG. SMAPH-F IP core is fully compliant with OpenVG 1.1 API, the vector graphics industry standard specifications. With SMAPH-F, it will be possible to achieve significantly higher vector graphics rendering performance compared to the embedded general-purpose CPUs.

Optional DMP Gradient Extension

In addition to all standard OpenVG functions SMAPH-F also supports the DMP Gradient Extension. This extension allows much richer color expression at higher processing speed and use less memory compared to conventional methods.
